BRASS is a fictional concert in a performance close to us all. It is about how we interpret a situation and a role. Dance and music intertwine in what connects us, right and wrong and a game. BRASS is about finding the right place in a delightful mix of kitsch moves, classical brass music and surreal spaces.
Claire Parsons lets three performers meet three brass musicians for a commissioned work for Norrlandsoperan. A gesamtkunstverk with dance, music, juggling and live music – a performance above the usual!
Commissioned for Norrlandsoperan, Umeå.
